It was a close fight, I didnt score it. Rocky dropped Diego, but besides that a competitive fight. Rocky vs Mikey Garcia anyone???

I had 114-113 Magdaleno... and I'm pretty damn confident in my score. Viloria proved he cannot hold a title. He can win one as well as any other man... but Estrada ate his hardest punches like they were candy. He's the kind of fighter (Vlioria) who has no plan b. If he cannot win on power, he cannot win at all.

Haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but posters on here whose opinions I respect believe it was a bad decision.

However I have seen Martinez against Burns, Beltran, and Burgos, and I know from that that Martinez would get decapitated in five rounds or less. I actually respect Martinez more than most on this board, but he is the perfect opponent to make Garcia look perfect.

Mikey usually fights at a very conservative pace, but with Martinez' ridonkulous, wide open attack Garcia would be throwing eighty punches a round and landing at a ninety percent rate. Also, Martinez, although he's tough with a good chin, seems to have an oddly limp neck. Its really strange to see the way his head gets knocked around like a wet noddle when he takes a flush punch.

Martinez would get killed by Mikey, he's awful.

    I had Martinez 114-113.

There were a few very close rounds. However, Magdaleno was knocked down and later cut, in return Martinez was never in any major trouble.

This was a close fight, a fight that could of went either way on the cards..for that reason it was not a bad decision.

Magdaleno should have got the decision by 2 RDs.

Clear Magdaleno win for me. Judges just obviously prefer Rocky's aggression. Diego's pivot to his right on his front foot, away from Rocky's right hand was helping him a lot. He wasn't allowing RM to plant his feet for the most part.

Rocky has no fluidity on his punches at all, he throws his punches as if he holding 20 pound weights in each hand.

  11. Martinez is painful to watch. His movement and execution are so weak, he is not a natural born fighter. The only thing he relies on are his heavy hands and hoping that by throwing his arms somewhere near the face at least one lands. His skills are cringeworthy...

I thought Magdalena won. Reminds me of a young Marquez... needs to sit down on his punches, more stamina and polish his defense a little bit. A joy to watch while he was active.

I agree. He sat on his punches immediately after the KD. It's hard for him to do that consistently without getting knocked down, for some reason.

    Magdaleno

Scored it 115-112 I think even. Neither looked very threatening to any of the top 10 at 130. I guess I was "rooting for" Martinez because I think he's been plenty exciting and is a decent fighter, but I was disappointed.
