No way he fights six times.

    He'll fight RG.

Then Trout will beat Canelo and we'll hear excuses as to why Floyd won't fight Austin.

He'll probably end up fighting Bradley or Alexander.

Then he might have one more fight and retire.

A lot of people saying Devon, but what if Kell beats him is he in with a shot?
Or is Kell not mainstream enough or a big enough pull for Floyd to fight him?

Andre Ward? Are you insane!!! Do you actually know anything about boxing or do you just reel off names of fighters you know? There are reasons we have weight divisions.

Showtime are blowing this promotion big time. They haven't even had a press conference yet.Sho are going to lose their asses in this deal.
Canelo royally ****ed Mayweather when he bolted and is main eventing his own show at the Alamodome. This will cost Mayweather hundreds of thousands PPV and millions of dollars lost for Showtime.

    Agreed.

Isn't the date of the RG fight a sacred date or something in Mexico?

Makes me LAUGH how Fooyd has gotten the moniker of "Money" yet won't take up other fighters on his biggest ever pay days.

  7. Firstly if you read it I said Showtime will want these names for blockbuster effect,I never once said I expected it.Secondly fighting ward isn't insane, ward fights at 12 stone Mayweathers last fight was at 11 stone so a natural catchweight is middle.the money and fight would be huge possibly history making which is exactly what Showtime will want for their outlay

There are countless examples over the years of people moving through the divisions for a defining fight, and years ago the thought of 2 people a stone apart fighting would be accepted without fuss
At mayweathers age he might find it easier to go up again in weight whereas is wards ever going to boil himself down then it will be now whilst at a physical peak

I myself weigh 11stone but 2 nights ago was sparring somebody 16 stone.this happens all over the world day in day out.you wouldn't fight competitively but the thought of 2 men fighting a few pounds apart shouldn't be stupidly dismissed

For what's it's worth I don't think it will ever happen but then again I never said it would

    I'd say:
    Khan
    winner of Alexander vs Brook
    winner of Garcia vs Judah

then the winner of Mathysse vs Peterson, winner of Mallinagi vs Broner, Maidana, may get a shot if they continue to win.

Cotto, Pacman may get a shot if they make sucessfull comebacks.

The only two or three id be interested in watching are Alverez, Broner and Martinez but all 3 wont happen ... Maywether wont fight Alverez or Martinez and cant see the broner fight happening! Khan/Maywether does not interest me Khan would be ko'd! Danny Garcia would be beat up, Pacquaio would be a waste of time now because he'd beat Pac easy although wouldn't of 2 years ago ... I can see the Timothy Bradley fight happening + Alexender if he gets passed Kell

I agree, but Timothy Bradley aint Manny Pacquiao, and if he wants that fight, he will leave Top Wank, and I don't think Arum will give a flying ****.

He aint involved in great fights (apart from the last one, which was down to the way he fought) he aint a mega star. Bradley "robbed" his golden boy and love child. He don't sell like some do, he don't have the same appeal as some do.

Arum wouldn't lose any sleep over Bradley. It's all fake smiles in that ring at the end of fights, Arum deep down wants to throttle Bradley.

It wasnt supposed to go like that, Bradley ruined everything god dammit!

Ward is a light-heavy who looks after himself well enough to make 168. Another 18 months and he won't any more. You're absolutely right - it would be a mismatch.

Williams was a big noise and not much else at the time. No one paid to see him fight and even fewer people tuned in to watch.

You think a stone in weight is not a big difference in weight?!! Have you ever seen a pic of mayweather standing next to Ward? Ward fights at 168lbs and is 6' tall. Mayweather fought at 151 for a 154 title and is about 5'6". The size difference is insane, ward probably walks around at 190.

And as for bigger and smaller guys sparring who gives a ****? I fought at lightweight and sparred heavyweights/superheavyweights it made no odds at all because we were novices.

At elite level boxing every advantage counts, Ward would break Mayweather in half. Tell me who the countless fighters are that have moved up to that extreme. An example of a fighter that has moved up from WW to SMW to face a prime undefeated champion of Wards caliber. (i dont want to hear pac fighting oscar or RJJ fighting Ruiz)
