    Williams by close 7-5 decision where he gets hurt but not finished. Too high of an output. Pavlik would never have his balance under him to throw the punches/combinations he would need to finish him. Too flat footed and too much volume coming at him.

    tragic this fight was never made. it also signified the end of arum dealing with haymon...which subsequently lead to the pacquiao-mayweather breakdown and ultimately the current cold war.

    if you paid attention to the negotiations during this fight, this fight was the straw that broke the camel's back.
