he's too basic a fighter to beat martinez.

so i personally think he's tailor made for Martinez. Although theres always a chance martinez isnt the same

Martinez is coming off a lay off and 2 fights ago looked ordinary vs Macklin

factor in an injury and being even older plus some homecomings can create added pressure and result in poor showings Murray to me is interesting

wont be favored and the odds will probably be wide but i think the scores might be close around the 8th or 10th before Martinez shifts gears and gets a late stop or just a big late rally

 

this is going to be a real tough ask with him going to Argentina to fight the home favorite. Martinez is rightfully the pick to come out on top, but Murray will give everything he's got. i can't go with any more than 25%.

if Murray wins, it would be a huge upset. but as i say, with him going into the lions den, it's going to be ****ing crazy.

Murray took a massive step up in class when he fought Sturm,he rose to the challenge and performed way better than anybody expected him to.Most people had him winning the fight by a couple fo rounds,but hey ho the fight took place in Germany so go figure.
Martinez is the favourite and rightfully so,but Murray is no mug and Sergio will have to work hard to beat him.

 

My advise to murray is after he beats Martinez collapse in the ring and act like you have a heart attack . that be the only way to get out of argentina safely then when your feet are on safe soil jump up and celebrate :happy

Anyway Martinez is having problems with his knee during camp. He is not going to call off the fight cause he is a G ( and because he has sold 40k tickets) so this fight is intriguing. If his legs are gone Murray could have a chance.
