How would he fare against todays 140 division? would he rule at the top? or do well against most? or even not do well at all. Opinions?

He probably would be the top dog.

and i actually thought he was doing rather well in his last fight, wobbling Sevchenko quite a bit. But the abuse to his body just couldn't do it anymore. not taking anything away from that great liver shot.

But in his 140 days, his strength was a real problem. And those damn bodyshots.

Really? I thought he looked like a shell of his old self. He just looked slower and less ferocious than he used to.

makes Khan wobble like a new-born girraffe

his jittery footwork (cant explain) would trouble khan a lot. Plus his bodywork during clinches (and he did a lot) would make a difference

    hells no!

Ricky was a beast in his hey day but guys like Garcia, Mathysse and Peterson are way too young and hit way too hard for Ricky, they are also very BIG jr WW and can box better than he can.....well Danny and Peterson can anway

I can however see him beating the Rios, Alvarados, Khan, Judah

He caught Kostya on the down slide and that ref let him wrestle all night

The win was impressive and he looked incredible that night Kostya so he deserves respect for that.

JMM is a stylistic nightmare for Ricky too.

agreed, think he wanted the ko/tko, the guy was very involved with the fans and wanted to give them a ko etc. Should have boxed though. In a way though, im sort of glad he lost, dont mean to be mean, But he could have gotten seriously hurt against a top 140 otherwise

He could beat Khan and that would be about it. His Glass Jaw would get shattered over and over.

:huh never understood the whole Ricky having a glass jaw thing. It wasn't great, but it was solid, he sure walked through some

Not very good. I have always said that Hatton is the most overrated fighter I have ever seen.

Danny Garcia - Stops him ala Pac. Very early too. Hatton takes a huge left hook and stays down.

Matthysse - Stops him cold again. No shame in that as I think Matthysse stops anyone at 140 that doesnt run.

PEDersen - Tough fight that could go either way. PEDersen only started punching hard after he was caught with steroids. He was always the Pedersen that boxed instead of brawled unlike his brother and that was because he didnt have the power to brawl.

Alvarado - Close fight. I might make Hatton the favorite here.

Rios - A great action fight but I just think Rios would be too much for Hatton based on styles. Hatton wouldnt run and I think toe to toe you gotta take Rios here.

Khan - Khan would go down a few times but I think he makes it 12. Hell Hatton might go down a few times. I think it comes down to who goes down less times.

Judah - Either Judah catches Hatton lunging in with an uppercut and puts his lights out or Hatton just grinds Judah down. I think Hatton takes this.

Its bs trolling isnt it really. Pac was too quick and strong, but then he was in his prime and a level above anyone at the time bar Mayweather. If Rickys chin was glass Collazo would have had him out of there but couldnt put Ricky down after all the clean shots he landed

Hatton would beat both Khan and Garcia, his style would give Khan nightmares and his bodywork would soon slow Danny down, taking the power away to some extent
