Well lara and vanes both vowed to ko each other leading up to their fight and promise a great fight but yet that fight was flat out boring mostly thanks to lara dirty tactics.

You do know Donaire throws 30 punches per round right?

And? Donaire will likely be the aggressor fighter moving forward while rigo will be moving around the ring looking to counter.

And? Donaire is just as inactive as Rigondeaux. There are way more deadspots in his fights than Rigo's.

this is likely to happen IMO unless Rigo becomes some sort "warrior" which i doubt he is.

Like I've said, he will be proud to lose a 12 round decision to a real champ.

Rigo's crowning achievement in his career after an illustrious amateur career will be to last 12 rounds with Nonito Donaire and not get knocked out.

  7. I've been telling people, Rigois gonna run like a ***** until Donaire flattens him.

    I don't find a strategic fight boring.

The real boors are those that continuously complain about such.

NO HE'S NOT. COMPUBOX has shown that Donaire is far more the busier fighter despite also being a patient counterpuncher. He is far more active than Rigondeaux.

Both Rigo and Donaire consistently average well below the 122 pounder average of 60 punches per round, but Donaire atleast comes closer to the average whereas Rigo is well below it.

Part of Rigo's effectiveness is being accurate.

Of course its easy to do more with less against lesser foes who lack the chin and speed of Donaire.

He will need to a lot more against Donaire if he wants to win.

But like i said, the Cuban will be happy losing a 12 round decision.
