    I didn't say he was a masterful boxer now, but compare him to the Maidana back in the Alexander fight

    i can't believe how bad maidanas fundamentals were/still are.

    When he 1st joined garcia's gym, he couldnt even hit a speed bag. And even here. He looks so basic.

    Kids in the gym i go 2 with 1 or 2 amateur fights look better than this on the pads!

    If anything it makes the whole thing more impressive how far he's come with such terrible fundamentals.

    maidana is admirable. the man comes to fight with one hand behind his back. thats for sure. giving khan a brutal fight

    Indeed, he looks very bad for a pro boxer. What he saves him is his power and his will to go into the war.

    Anyway I'd like to see Maidana vs Ruslan or Matthysse. :yep

    He's pretty average on the pads to be honest. His power is far from average though, I'd hate to eat one of his uppercuts.
