A lot of fighters say stuff like this, take on larger guys, heavyweights etc. At least Roy has been up there at heavyweight. Hopefully though, he doesnt have a death wish because he can still be very competitve against anyone at 168-175.

Even if he was crazy enough to mean it, has he earned a right to fight for the heavyweight title without defeating a couple of heavyweight contenders first? And can he do that?

I think he is just trying to get attention. The PPV numbers from his fights with bums are probably very low.

 

I didn't buy it when he was saying this a few years ago about guys like Lewis and Tyson, let alone now.

if he actually said that then i'm 100% sure his brain has been smashed against the frontal cavilty of his skull on too many occations. the frontal lobe and grey matter apparently affects judgement.
