This weekend we get to see 1 of the biggest p4p punchers in the world, the brilliant nonito donaire it got me thinking have we got any bangers in our domestic scene today
His knockout percentage wouldn't suggest it but I'd say that Lee Selby punches fairly hard for his weight looking at some of his stoppages. It all depends what level you are talking about though because Froch was a banger on the domestic and European scene but not on the world scene. The biggest p4p puncher we currently have though is David Haye.
David haye would have been my call The chisora knockout alone is special for a natural cruiser Klitschko, fury and helenius all big heavys couldnt budge del boy Haye has fantastic speed and accuracy
Haye, it's got to be. I was convinced that Chisora would able to stand his punches after he took Vitali's so I was proper shocked when Haye flattened him. I think it's the pure speed of Haye's punches which knocks opponents out, not the raw force behind them. A bit like Pacquiao.
Ofalabi has decent power, if you count him as a brit. Also Groves is pretty handy. Haye is way out in front though.
Pound for pound its David Haye no doubt about it, he has some crazy power in both hands and I am talking about a one punch knock out power,Haye is an orthodox who knocked Chisora out with a left hand from a southpaw stance,Chisora who never been knocked out,not by Vitali, not by Fury or even helenius,Hayes feet are wide apart in the ring but he is able some how land shots leaving his entire body behind,Also, you must appreciate the speed and accuracy,it is David Haye no doubt about it IMO
