A moment ago you were saying that his ethnicity had nothing to do with it, and now you've done a complete U-turn. How does he represent, ****stan? He certainly never won a silver medal for ****stan at the Olympics. He doesn’t fight in ****stan, live in ****stan, and isn’t even known in the country. If he was ‘****stani through and through’, he certainly wouldn’t be fighting in Sheffield, and would never have a problem shifting tickets in the UK.

His entourage consist of his closest friends and family. I don’t know much about his family background and the area he resided in before he became famous, however, it’s highly likely he lived in a ****stani dominated area and so his ‘entourage/friends’ are most likely comprised of people of ****stani descent.

Froch has mentioned his ‘Polish genetics’ on countless of occasions. How do you know that he isn’t ‘rolling around with a load of Polaks’? Not that there’s anything wrong with Froch talking about his Polish background as he could attract and gain the attention of Polish people residing in the U.K.

i agree with some of the people in here.
Froch does say some dumb **** and comes off as arrogant, maybe even worse than Khan..
but for the most part, he's had the ability to back up his talk and has an Iron Chin, so that probably makes a difference..
maybe Khan being P@kistani does play a role, idk, i'm not brittish so i can't really speak on why they support who they do..

i don't like Khan because he's got an undeserved sense of cockiness, his fighting style is ugly as hell, and his voice just plain gets on my nerves..

You mug Amir is a huge star in ****stan,he's a bigger star there than what he is in the UK.The only point I was trying to make is that Amir might be from the UK but he represents his heritage more so.You can twist my words all you want but to me race is irrelevant I am fan of the SPORT first and foremost but if some ass on a forum asks my opinion on a fighters ethnicity I will give it,doesn't mean I give a toss about it.

Khan talks to much **** and can't back it up. I would think that after getting stopped a couple of times that he would learn but nope.

How do you know if Khan represents his heritage more?
Or that he's a bigger star in ****stan than the UK?
Also Lennox Lewis is huge in Jamaica probably a bigger star there than the UK. Even has stamps made after him, does he have that in the UK?

Relax, kid. At least provide a credible source to prove that he’s a ‘huge star’? I’ve been to ****stan on a couple of occasions and I’ve never met anyone that has heard of him or has asked about him. He isn’t a 'huge star' with the ****stanis in the U.K let alone with the ****stanis in ****stan.

You can sit at your computer screen and say that race is irrelevant to you, but you’ve proved that isn’t the case. Anyway, I’m not discussing this issue any further.

My sisters husband is from ****stan and hes a huge Amir Khan fan,he reckons Amir is more popular overthere than what he is in the UK.Now I'd be more inclined to believe him than some anonymous ninny on a boxing forum. They don't have many world famous sports stars in ****stan besides the Cricket team maybe so why wouldn't Amir be a big star?

Nobody really likes him in the UK never mind the ****stanis so your point is irrelevant,it's got nothing to do with race like I said its his personality.

Your done talking well that's good, crawl back into your hole.

He just comes across as a guy who thinks he's on the same level as Floyd and Manny in terms of being P4P, PPV draw, name recognition, ect.

Hmmmm...Price doesn't get a ton of **** for getting knocked out and doing the baby giraffe. Must be cause he's white. Nothing to do with his humility and ability to speak intelligently about the sport. Nope, definitely cause he's white.

If Khan was white he'd still be a douchebag, an imbecile, and a daddy's boy.

For me, it was mostly the bull**** that went on during the Barrera fight. Even if that hadn't happened, it was hard to stomach the fact that he carried himself as if were a second ODLH and had already reached that level when he still had plenty to prove.

All that said, I like the kid as a fighter. He takes risks, fights hard and fights tough opponents. A little humility would go a long way, but some fighters just need that ego to keep it rolling.

Hmm lets see, Garcia KO'd him, Maidana would have won had the ref not let Khan push his way to victory. Peterson won, and Malinaggi are you ****ing serious? Anyways...proves my point. When he finally stepped it up he either lost or had to do dirty **** to win.

No he beat Maidana after damn near getting Ko'd, and the ref let him push his way out of the fight. Gtfo outta here with that bull****, Khan is a hype job plain and simple. And at least Froch does not get KO'd left and right you stupid ****.
