Say they meet at 140? How do you see this one going? Probably in my top 5 for the fastest fighters I've seen, ever.

Great fight had it came off.

Both men have explosive speed and power and for all their abilities, neither men are reluctant to wage wars.

My pick is Shane on points. He has shown a much more reliable chin. In a fast-paced rumble (potentially due to their styles), Shane would be able to take what Taylor could dish out and that will work in his favor.

On a sidenote, both men seems to have lost their old selves after tasting their first defeats.

Nice observation. So much was reliant on their gifts it was like...ok...what now? :conf

Shane Mosley was able to bounce back relatively easily. Meldrick Taylor is a whole other story. Don't even compare those two.

Shane did lose a bit of confidence IMO

Jesus Christ, watching that video.... Taylor had such fast hands.. He was noticeably faster than Shane... I think Shane may win a close fight though, would have been great to watch.

A bit, but he still went on to fight many times, and his confidence must have surged greatly after the Margarito bout.

Taylor on the other hand had slurry speech and showed major signs of deterioration just a few fights after the Chavez fight.

The faster your hands are, the less power each punch has behind it. thats a major downside.

At first thought, I started to say Shane, easily. After thinking it over, I could see Taylor's speed and movement frustrating Shane a little.

Still, Shane is just too strong for Meldrick and could slow him down with the body work.

They're both fast, but Mosley's punches have true meaning. That's the difference between the two.

Noticeably? a bit of a stretch. Show me a faster combo from taylor that resulted in this with force? (5:30 of vid)

I think Mosley would have won a decision based on landing the harder shots in-between Taylor's combinations. He was great at timing the right shots in exchanges. I also think that Mosley had a bit of an edge in intelligent footwork, he could walk Taylor into something big if he anticipates his movement coming forward.

Taylor is the best 140 pounder of all time, so I'd pick him :D

Shane was almost as fast, but had more power... I obviously can't show you a video. Even if I could, I wouldn't know how to post it.:patsch

  15. Taylor outboxes Mosley rather easily, just way too fast. He's in my top 3 140 pounder's all time.
