Now that Hearn has taken over? It's absolutely dead on there most weekends.

I was all for it at first thinking we would get quality shows once every two weeks. That is not happening though. No disrespect to Brian Rose but should he really be headlining on Sky if we are getting a show once a month or so it seems?

To be honest, I go out most weekends and wouldn't ever manage my social life around boxing on the TV. So personally I'm not too bothered about there being less boxing on Sky because whenever it's on now and I'm staying in, at least the cards in general are of better quality. There's been some poor ones recently granted but in the main, they're better to watch than a Commonwealth title fight headling a bill from Wigan Sports Centre.

For those people who need their fix of live boxing every weekend, at least Boxnation is delivering.

Yep. British boxing has become like old school UFC. One decent event every three weeks. Only our boxing events ain't a patch on the old UFC events in terms of quality. Shame!

It seems like there's less because there is less! A half decent card every 3 weeks is annoying me quite a bit now - thankfully theres BoxNation! :happy

Imagine if Brook pulls out and we miss out on Matthysse/Peterson.

    There will be blood.

Sky cut here budget and dates so we don`t have card evey week, but we get 3/4 live fights on a card now instead of 1 like we had in the old ffn format. The amount of live domestic fight will compere well to past years. The lack of international fights is the problem and the fact if they do a poor show it looks bad because we have to wait longer for the next one then we did before.

I`m broadly in favour of what Hearn is trying to do,but if i brought Sky Sports just for boxing I wouldn`t think i`m getting value for money at the moement but hopefuly he will step it up next season and he`s building the stable up nicely and if he gets it right it would encourage Sky to give him more dates when his contract is up

    What? :huh

I never said anyone did. I don't care what other people get up to, I was just saying what I do. Sky is not solely a boxing channel so if you're really that bothered about a lack of live fights, get Boxnation and either stay in or sky plus that. It's not hard.

There is the Internet as well you know? You can always watch fights at a later date on that. Sky picking up fights isn't the be all and end all
