To be fair, Donaire does fight in the smaller weight classes and historically the divisions below 135 and definitely those below 126 haven't been goldmines for the fighters in those divisions.

But yeah, Berto does owe Al Haymon for the money he has been able to make over the years.

Berto isn't a scrub but yeah he's getting more than Donaire despite not being as great as he is.

He seems to manage his fighters extremely well. His other fighter, Austin Trout is getting good fights and we all know about Mayweather.

Berto was supposed to be the next man, they builded him up and people know his name. He got paid well, and put a beating on a buch of nobody's. He's fallen from that, I think the Guerrero fight was supposed to put him back up there with the top names. Didn't turn out, he could've been fighting Floyd but can't win his fights.

If you sign with the man who controls floyd mayweather you get more money. Plain and simple. Too bad floyd ain't a scilent partner in hayeman's company. Cause the guy get paid just for dropping his name.

Berto fights are usually exciting despite him not winning. Plus people like to watch Berto fights to see who Floyd will get next i.e. Ortiz and Guerrero.

Well he does at least bring excitement to his fights.

His fights against Guererro and Ortiz were FOTY candidates
