TUF 17 Finale: Faber vs. Jorgensen

This was so frustrating. I need Blanco by ud for the points, but I hate it when I see a fighter not take advantage of a glaring hole. Did the corner even tell Sicillia about the opening for the straight right?

 

29-28 across the board Blanco....right score.

 

Nothing wrong with that decision. I had it 2-1 Blanco.

 

I think we just found the MMA version of Victor Ortiz.

 

If the next fight resembles anything like the little bit of footage I saw led me to believe, Miller will drop Bart with a right hand and finish him with something.

 

That was an excellent fight. Sicilia landed the best shots but Blanco landed more and got the more dominant positions. But IMO Sam Sicilia should be brought back for more UFC fights. They said the guys were fighting for their jobs. Sam Sicilia fights a style that people want to watch.

I agree on his straight punch lacking. If he mixed straight shots in it would also make his hooks more dangerous. He is a fence swinger that is for sure.

 

2 fights in...4 parlays dead.....not a good start.

 

The only reason you loop shots is to get around a guard, or over and outstretched arm, etc... There was nothing to go around. A straight punch is much faster, and very easy to land when nothing is in the way.

 

I don't even know which fighter moved down.

Polish Power until the big spider got his legs around him. Miller should not be able to take down stout FW's with ease. That was bad.
