If Gavin serious he needs to do something or stop moaning! Would he be wanted by others?

    Agreed.

His best performance was against Lomax. Other than that he's usually in awful fights. He's not exactly Nigel Benn when it comes to excitement, is he?

    Agreed.

Frankie has pulled out on a few fights as well. But when the shoe is on the other foot..

Turned over in 2008, didn't he? His career is done.

I think the whole 2008 class is jinxed, personally speaking.

They were only going to enforce the mandatory position if Witter accepted an offer.

If Witter said ''**** you, let's go to purse bids'' they'd have gone in another direction.

Allegedly HAS to pay Gavin a certain amount per fight. If it went to purse bids, the bid would have to be proportionate (I'd assume) to pay Witter his %, which would more than likely be set by Frankie's minimum purse.

I'm not sure how long the original deal was for, but by all accounts (I can't verify this) he signed a three year deal just before he left Arnie's.

So, assuming that's right, there's at least a year to go on that.

He actually have to do something ie see a solicitor then get contract terminated! Then it will go legal but he will not have to fight on his shows!

Maybe he doesn't feel that it's in his interests to try and get out....

He's getting a lot of money per fight, more than he'd get elsewhere.

Plus, Allegedly hasn't really let him down the way that he has so many others, or signed his sworn enemy in the case of DeGale.

At the minute, Frankie is probably the Winston Bogarde of boxing.

It's probably more trouble than it's worth if he does indeed have a year left.
