He's already TOP DAWG at 122, no one challenges him there (Mares-GBP) 126 is pretty weak, he would have to fight MIKEY, a 50/50 fight IMO. 130 hes got Uchiyama, Burgos, Juanma, Magdaleno,Salido, Rocky Martinez. The problem for Rigo is, he's a small 122, could probably make 118. But he is highly skilled. Could he beat bigger guys like these, who are far less skilled but naturally 10-15 pounds bigger???? Would be intresting.

Mikey wouldn't beat him. Having Robert Garcia in his corner would lose him the fight like it did Nonito. Mikey would be down 8 rounds coming into the 9th and Garcia wouldn't convey any sense of urgency.

Mikey couldn't take those bombs Salido made him quite, the only threat is Gamboa. Rigo could beat Juanma, Salido, Mexican Russian, John, Santa Cruz and Mares, I even like him against Gamboa.

Rigondeaux was already 122 around the start of training camp. He's 32 years old and fought mostly at bantanweight during the Olympics.
    He's not moving up anymore

I don't like Rigondeaux vs Gamboa. Rigondeaux would do fine at feather, but Gamboa territory is dangerous.

    Time will tell.

He has the talent but not the frame imo.

Garcia destroys him. You guys know that GArcia is much bigger and has the best jab in the game right? Not to mention fight ending power all 12 rounds.

I think Arum could actually make that one too so hopefully it happens.

The one fighter that would give Rigo problems is Leo Santa Cruz. I believe Santa Cruz's style of fighting, as a high volume puncher (who can sustain it throughout the entire fight), gives him a very good chance against Rigo.

Unlike Donaire, Santa Cruz does not look for the one punch KO, but instead does his damage methodically.

    No.

The dude is small. He's far more skilled than Miley Garcia, and might be able to take him, but 130 is too far for him. Someone like Uchiyama would be too big, too strong, hit too hard, and have sufficient technical boxing skills to end him.
