    both had great careers at amateur level with their gold medals..rigo just proved that he's no joke at the pro level with his most recent win against the highly regarded donaire. i think this is just the beginning. well see even more of rigo's greatness in the near future. to answer your question on whether rigo is better than ward? only time will tell...

    rigondeaux- best wins are donaire and rico ramos

    ward- kessler, abraham, froch, dawson
    i think ward's body of work is more impresive.

    Rigo has faced every type of fighter there is. hes had round 400 amature fights
