"Virgil been in my corner for every round of sparring. Some of my old habits came back but he would pull me to one side and tell me I can't do that anymore.
^^ Better than late than never. But it will be exciting to see how much he learned. I think Khan should fight 3 times this year, in order to rebuild himself and to implement the new stuff. Khan needs to think inside the ring and make the right decision.
Does anyone else not give a toss about Khan anymore? For me, no matter how much he talks up his latest fight, his skills or how hes changed and improved etc hes always just one punch away from another ko career set back and subsequent comeback. I just dont think hes got it in him to tighten up and contain his natural instincts which leave him terribly exposed.
Unfortunately he'll only be fighting twice this year. He'll be taking time out for his wedding and ramadhan in July, and won't be returning to the ring until November/December I suspect. And he's hoping for that to be against Garcia :-(. Bad move, in my opinion, because he won't have given himself enough time to work with Virgil. No way can you expect to make the improvements that he needs in just two camps.
Its a **** main and two debuts, from pretty shitty amatuers at that. That is a **** card. The only interesting fight is Wilder, which when I said that wasn't announced on the card. Edit: I can't find any news about Scott Quigg being on this card apart from the first post in this thread. Is he on the card or not? Two shitty amatuers making their debut and a **** main event. This card is crap. Wilder-Harrison is all that is interesting(and will probably be a blow out).
