True, Floyd fanatics knews these deep inside their heart, they just will not admit it. Floyd is a shame. Everybody knew Floyd is a cherry picker.

Everyone knows Floyd is a cherry picker. He even said so himself. Why do people still make these kind of threads?

But you can't tell me he didn't take the harder fights than Pacquiao did? Floyd doesn't rely on draining his opponents to appear faster and stronger than he really is.

I feel Floyd's opponents are selected on two criteria. Risk and reward. Like any businessman would.

    How is this thread trash?

I'm really disappointed in Floyd as he will never be as great as his talents can make him as he chose a paycheck instead. Listen to this guys...

Not including Pacquiao, he could have had:
    W Williams
    W Margarito
    W Forrest
    W Prime Mosley
W Quartey at LMW or catchweight
    W Cotto
    W Castillo
    W Corrales
    W G.Hernandez
    W Hatton
    W Marquez
    W Mitchell
Instead, he went for Judah, Baldomir, Corley, Bruseles, Sosa, Ndou, past prime Oscar, past prime Mosley...how does this compare?
When you are P4P no.1, you don't need to play that 'I am going to fight the top contenders' card..you go for the legit champions.

Instead, in the top 50 there are fighters in welterweight that have far greater resumes, and even would beat him H2H i.e Emile Griffith, Hearns etc.

He fought and beat more than half those fighters you mentioned. The only fighter that he flat out ducked was Margarito. Williams was fluctuating from 147-160.. didn't really spend too much time at Welter.

But if he can go up for Cotto or DLH, why can't he defend his belt against the likes of Martinez or the winner of Trout/Canelo? His fans will be the first to tell you it's not fair to expect this champ to defend against full blown SWWs. So his 154 campaign sure has been cherrypicked, and somehow he missed out on the most of the risky fights at 147, and it's not like he just got there.

Yeah I added them to the list. But I also made known the difference in a past prime Mosley & Oscar.
They were not the fighters they were against eachother. That would have definitely meant a loss against Oscar.

What you're implying is stupid. I could sit here all day and sub various ATG's in and out of the scenario you're describing. The most extreme example: "But if Sugar Ray Robinson went up and won 13 rounds from Joey Maxim, why didn't he go and fight LHW's after he returned from retirement? He cherrypicked the one he fought." Or how about: "Roy Jones cherrypicked his win over HW titlist."

And his two fights at 154 were certainly not cherrypicked. He moved up to his highest division, only weighs half way to the 154 limit, and took on the two biggest fights available at that division at that time. By biggest in this context, I am referring to money generation, which is a result of paying fans' interest... If he were to have fought Bundrage for his IBF belt last year rather than Miguel Cotto, THAT would be a cherrypick.
