Good interview. I genuinely like Hearn and believe he is trying his best to deliver 20 top shows, but I think the expectations of big events, big arenas and big night boxing for 20 Saturday's per year is unrealistic.

He took the **** out of Kugan there with the track suit, articulated that down to a tee. He could talk all night, the bloke has the gift of the gab, have to hand it to him.

Needs bigger stable for it. Perhaps the annoucment with another promotor would happy. The stable has got bigger than when sky handed them the dates

True, I would be happy to see more of the top domestic fights happening on Sky. Really hope Quigg-Frampton happens next and he can get Barker in with one of the British/Irish middleweights.

Kugan moaning about not getting a seat at the March 30th Echo Arena show. I could see him on the night because I had a really good upper tier seat where you could see everything on the floor perfectly. It's true he was literally stood right at back of the whole arena with a couple of stewards. He didn't look too happy. Pointed him out to my brother and said "he looks annoyed about something." My brother just went "probably because he can't get a seat."

Turns out he spot on right.

Yes but those expectations were given to the fans by Hearn. if he had come along and said "well its gonna be same as always but with half the dates" probably would be happy with the quality.

I honestly think Sky & Hearn didn't think BoxNation would be around anymore and they would be the only game in town.

The Barker vs Chavez Jnr talk has died down. Hopefully the Andy Lee fight can be made.

That would have went down like a ton of ****, no way would fans be happy with half dates and no improvements on quality. They had to sell it as less shows but higher quality, even though we know Sky just slashed the budget.
