You are correct. Trout need to keep his jab pumping and give Canelo angles to offset any punches Canelo throws.

Trouts footwork can be hesitant in between standing to trade and stepping out of range. Canelo can control the tempo of the fight in this regard with body shots. Canelo late stoppage.

Canelo is a protected and hyped up fighter. He's getting outboxed and outworked this Saturday and don't be suprised if you see him get stopped on cuts or swelling. He lacks stamina and the ability to fight for 3 minutes of each round. Trout will make him work wiht his jab and drown this guy. For the people who think Trout doesn't have power and Canelo will simply walk him down they clearly haven't seen Canelo fight I have yet to see this guy walk anyone down. Trout made Cotto respected his power and hurt him tot he body multiple times. He couldn't walk Matthew Hatton down. Trout will have an easy UD here and don't be suprised by a stoppage!

 

Trout has to be thinking he needs to do more offensively to win the fight as he does not want Canelo to win the close rounds. In attempting to do so he will fall into the trap in which he gets stopped.

Trout will in the end fight to avoid the KO and lose by decision at best

canelo couldnt ko mosley because he couldnt. he landed the most amount of punches ever on shane and shane physically looked no different than he had after any other of his defeats.

This fight will end up looking like Chavez/Whitaker - with Trout being even more dominant and getting the SD nod.

 

Trout is leaps and bounds better schooled than Alvarez when it comes to Lateral movement, you are correct Sir.

It all depends on if Trout can dictate. Alvarez has never had to deal with a fighter good enough to enforce their own game plan, that's the greatest what if, about this fight in my opinion.

(I don't post seriously anymore, because this place is full of morons, but the difference is probably going to be three well looked after Golden Boy judges in my opinion.)

 

Its really hard to deny this about Canelo and thats why I'm giving the edge to Trout...Canelo needs to be set to get off and if Trout can keep Canelo turning then I dont see how Canelo will mount his attack.

This is a main focal point to Trout's gameplan for him to ensure a victory(along with boxing and getting off first on Canelo)...Canelo is a thunderous puncher so I doubt Trout will try to slug it out with.
