People love to regurgitate this stuff don't they?

There's always your reasonable people who understand and can appreciate both sports for what they are. Then there are guys who blindly bash the other sport, giving obtuse opinions on the sport they admit they do not fully understand.

    Perhaps ignorance is bliss.

Just embarassing. He should concentrate on improving as a boxer as he really has to.

WTF! Who the **** are you? :huh

Tell all that **** to Buakaw Banchamek you ignorant fool! :yep

Take your head out of your Westocentric arse, it's a big world out there especially when it comes to combat sports! Believe it or not some countries have forms of combat as their national sport unlike some other countries whose national sports can involve hitting a ball with a stick and then running round in circles!!! All jokes aside there is money in kickboxing, not as much as boxing but if your good enough it's there. Only elite boxers or quality contenders make the good money in Boxing and the same can be said for MMA, Kickboxing & Muay Thai.

One thing boxing fans forget when they repeatedly pull out that old chestnut is a lot of guys prefer throwing their elbows and feet than just their fists that's why the walked into a kickboxing or MT gym when they were kids and not a boxing gym. As in boxing most have spent a much of their life truing and fighting & are deeply attached to their chosen sport & for others it's been their livelihood since they were as young a 6 years old (now you can't say that about boxing can you!). Just think about it for a moment, if you've spent your entire life training in one system why would u then switch to another where most of the weapons you've spent years refining and perfecting are suddenly useless due to a restrictive and unnatural set of rules (which can be avery frustrating experience if your used to slamming knees under some ones straights right!) Not only that but you have to start again at the bottom getting paid a pittance in a sport that at times can be very very very corrupt untransparent & seems to be run by dubious organisations where cronyism rules the day. That's quite a risk for a fighter.....

But forgetting all the above you are assuming a lot about a large group of fighters. It's not always about the money with fighters, it really isn't. Your forgetting that some guys just love their chosen sport regardless of money. I once fought in Bangkok for 500 baht around around $16!!!!! :deal

Boxing takes more skill......FFS what the **** do you know about taking an elbow in the clinch or defending aningst the a knee specialist???? Not to mention about avoiding a take down!

You forget many MMA guys come out of Muay Thai which is known as the "Science of Eight Limbs" not unlike the restricted & limeted "Sweet Science" of only two! I know little about the ground game but assuming boxing is more "skillful or difficult" just isn't logical....****in hell!

Always get proper gay boxing fan boys coming in whingeing and bitching.

Get Floyd in there with Buakaw, see if he can walk back to his corner unaided after a round of leg kicks :D

Must be annoying being a HW boxer in the worst ever era for the division and the sport in general. I would say there has never been less household names active in the sport of boxing throughout history. And, for the first time, boxing has some competition from another combat sport that is rapidly becoming more and more mainstream. If Fury was born 30 years earlier he'd be a multi-millionaire by now. Of course he is going to attack MMA, he needs more attention.

Watched that interview and must say I say the same thing. MMA is garabage. Rubbish etc. ****ing awesome. .Boxing is a man game.

Even if you dont like him. Real boxing fans know your an MMA hater. I only wtch strikeforce cause I had the super channel. Gina carono days :) lol.

Furys mouth is making getting him some huge exposure in the USA. Which is entertaining. The man is in great shape and ready for war.

He's cocky and loud. Just the kinda guy to make noise in the hwd.
