Purdy will do well to see the middle rounds.

 

Purdy getting the biggest chance and pay day of his life and that's **** promoting on Hearns account? madness. Purdy can fight at British or Euro level after this fight. he loses nothing from lossing to Devon and if by some mirical he pulls it of then its the best thing that ever happened to him.

 

Just out of interest, what would you do if you were Lee Purdy and what would you do if you were Eddie Hearn?

I believe Hearn recognises the limitations of Purdy and knows he probably won't win a world title but can give him a career high payday and some US exposure along with the feeling that a loss won't harm him at all.

Purdy wouldn't turn down a chance like this, he'll be delighted if it turns out to be true.
