I think ward would beat hopkins by 3 or 4 rounds but it wouldn't be pretty or convincing.

2 people who dont note that Hopkins turned pro whilst weighing in, inside the CW limit, and had, had around as many fights above MW as he had, had at MW

Froch beat more undefeated fighters than Calzaghe...He is more liked and respected by both British and American fans...By the time he retires he will have a greater legacy than Joe....How do you like them apples?

Froch may well have beaten more undefeated fighters, but the undefeated fighter Calzaghe beat, went on to beat Froch when coming off a loss, thats a fact :hi:

And Hopkins lost his pro fight so maybe he wasn't suited to fighting that heavy?

So going into the Calzaghe fight, Hopkins was 1-1 as a Light heavyweight, which by your logic means he had no pedigree at the weight and Calzaghe's win is therefore meaningless.

I mean, what undefeated fighters had Hopkins beat at Light Heavyweight?

If you take my post out of context it makes no sense. I was responding to someone saying calzaghe's best win was vs Hopkins so
I was saying well that would be the same for ward if he beat Hopkins.

bailey chooses to apply his twisted logic when and where he damn well feels like!! How dare you insist he apply it when it would discredit a Calzaghe victory!!

Joe Calzaghe the slapping coward who never beat ANYONE in their prime will beat one of the best boxers of this era? LOLOLOLOL!

Joe was dropped by Old Hopkins (a guy who hasnt had power in years)

Joe couldnt punch through a wet paper bag!

    Ward by TKO5 easy.

Joe Calslappy was possibly the least talented champion ever with the #2nd most padded record.

46 fights? why the short career? oh yeah because he was scared and also talentless

    Worst fighter ever!

    I hate this *****!
