I don't know anything about either fighter, except their records, and the fact that Jackson is the son of the great Julian Jackson (enough of a reason to watch this one!) and he's 15-1, with 14 KOs.

No major competition on their records, but both these guys evidently can bang.

    Any thoughts / background?

    Whodaya' got winning?

I dont know much about Jackson, but I know Woo (Fort) personally and I know he's always in great shape he has a great jab when he decides to use it and knockout power...I hope he gets the win he's put in the work to make it this far and deserves the shine and success that comes along with the win...he's a humble guy who loves his family and friends and one of the nicest people you'd ever meet real talk.

Jackson is decent, limited arsenal but hits pretty hard and has good hand speed. Had a nice battle against Willie Nelson last time out where I thought he probably edged it. Close competitive bout for sure.

Saw some footage of Fort and I think Jackson has to be a solid fav. Jackson been in with a legit foe while Fort still never faced a true live body. Fort's overhand right is too long and imo he just doesn't have the handspeed or power to compete near top level. Does seem to have some skills, solid jab and digs nice shots to the body, but I don't think he matches up in terms natural ability.

Strange this is only scheduled for 6, hopefully force some action for the neutral I guess.

Damn, I forgot that Jackson just fought Willie Nelson. (Where did my brain just go? ) I was so impressed with Nelson, I spaced out on Jackson. (It didn't dawn on me at the time that he was Julian's son.)

Was Julian in his corner? Do we know if Julian is involved in John's training?
