HWhich fighters have poor finishing skills, when they have an opponent hurt??? In history, & some fighters today???

    Quillin

Mayweather- Too cautious, at times he has his opponent hurt bit does not take the risk to stop the fight

Donaire- Does possess 1 punch KO power, but when he has hurt his opponents& there not out, struggles to.finish the job (Vasquez,Mathebula,Rigo)

Whitaker. His knockouts are flash one punch knockouts except that embarrassing hurtado affair. Horrible finisher. Rigo is bad too, plenty of power , no finishing instinct.

Earnie Shavers. He knocked out alot of Cruiserweights, but actually had a rather poor knockout percentage vs legitimate heavyweights. It wasn't because he couldn't punch hard, he just wasn't great at putting true heavyweights away when he got them hurt, and had poor stamina on top of that.

Fernando Vargas, Andre berto. Both good have had a good chance of winning their bug fights against de la Hoya and Ortiz had they not tired out later in the fight.

Honestly with Fernando vs Oscar, that is more a testament to Oscar's chin than anything else. Yeah Vargas had stamina issues, but he hit Oscar with EVERYTHING, he landed crazy amounts of flush shots to his chin. Bottom line was Oscar could handle his power, Vargas got discouraged long before his stamina issues became the main issue. Vargas came out convinced he would knock him right out, and although he managed to hurt him, he was not going to be able to knock Oscar out, period. He had no idea what to do once he found out that Oscar could weather the storm, and that he wasn't going to just come in and knock him out. I don't think people realize just how good of a chin DLH had, but he was an iron chinned warrior.

Both have plenty of power, but never seem too concerned with trying to finish their man off even when they've hurt him (see N'Dam and Salido fights.)
