    i think there's other boxers who deserve a world title shot more then Purdy.

    Vassell is more deserving than Purdy.

    Purdy will lose early by KO but its payday for him so he'll obviously take the fight.

    He will get embarrassed by Alexander, there's no way he will win. Junior witter would beat Purdy gotta be the worst welterweight on the domestic scene.

    Strange example to make, Witter was a world champion who only got stopped by Alexander due to injury, Prime Witter would easily beat Purdy.

    Wasn't an injury lol, he wanted a way out as he was gettin beaten up, not a strange example either, jus pointing out how witter would beat Purdy easy an Alexander beat witter easy.

    Top contenders injured, second turned it down for some reason, so that's how he got the shot, he's ranked 3rd. It's really that simple.

    he was the highest ranked contender. the issue is with the IBF rankings not Hearn or Purdy.

    Given Eddies comments that he has a feeling the Brook fight could still be made, could this be someone thrown to Alexander so he gets a fight with the Brook fight agreed to come next?

    No substance to it, just a suggestion but is it likely?
