Mods should ban nationality threads or move them to the lounge at least. They bring out the ****s in people and the whole forum is worse off. My 2 cents.

'Genetic input'? Mate, there's no 'genetic' difference between any of the peoples of the British Isles.

And people from NI are British by default unless they proactively apply for Irish citizenship.

Good article in The Irish Times today about Fury.
It said that his Grandfather was from Tuam, where his father was also born. His mother is from Belfast. They wandered to England and grew up with Travellers from throughout Britain and Ireland.

    Exactly...who cares

    Tyson Fury fights for Ireland
    Lennox Lewis fights for Jamaica
    Nassem Hamed fights for Yemen
    Ricky Hatton fights for Colombia

    It just doesn't matter.

I'm not really responsible for you not being able to read

I've read the one you're talking about, the oppenheimer one, I take it, though couldn't really take it too seriously, he goes from one sphere where he's well regarded to coming up with linguistic stuff that he's no real clue about. The long and short of it is that a tiny sample size was used, and his study, like those before it, mean **** all unless they test everyone in all the countries involved.

Here's another recent one that contradicts oppenheimers, there's a large amount of shared genes between English snd their german ancestors http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/edwest/100093184/are-the-english-really-germans-or-spaniards/

Not worth taking the time out to discuss it with 2 people that are using troll accounts.
