Trout by 2 rounds. At worse a draw. No problem with Canelo winning though,very close fight

Although never expected trout to get the victory even if he had won by a wider margin.

 

Alvarez. Very very close fight in terms of total number of rounds won by each man. Trout won his rounds more decisively than Canelo did (including the 7th, which he lost aside from the KD), but Canelo still shaded it by landing a few flashy shots in a handful of pivotal rounds.

The 118 score was lunacy though. I would have expected that from Raul Caiz or Gale Van Hoy, but not Stanley Christodoulo, who usually does well.

I think Canelo did enough. He made it look closer then it needed to be, but clearly the superior fighter. I was impressed, but I think he just needed to step it up more (open scoring might of had something to do with it).
