Great upperbody movement, timing and variety of punches. Austin won some rounds mainly with his activity but otherwise did much less damage than Canelo.
His upper body movement was excellent. He needs to work on his cardio as well as shortening the punches.
Showed excellent timing, head/upper body movement, and counterpunching skills. Surprising (and impressive) to see him outbox Trout. I thought Alvarez would pressure and eventually break him down instead of doing what he did. He can still improve on his stamina and shorten his punches and lunge a bit less when throwing. 115-112 Alvarez, but Trout is a good fighter and was very classy in the postfight interview. He made me a fan of his tonight. I will root for him in any situation that doesn't involve Ginger in the future.
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe because the pan is still hot. The right hand in the 7th was about the only thing that caught my attention. The timing of that punch was pretty darn good.
