Better counter puncher: James Toney or Jose Napoles

    I actually have a strong opinion on this one but wonder if I am perhaps biased.

    Weigh away classic.

    Counter punching was the majority of Fat man's game, and I personally think the better of the two because of it. He possessed, that natural flow. The ability to just spark it on, and the awareness of positioning, and where his opponents weight was, along with their hands.
    Napoles on the other hand, at least from my short memory was a little more squeeky clean, and had a wider lens on his game, though he was a heck of a counterpuncher. I'll still have to sit with Toney.

    Everyone Tony Canzoneri ever counter-punched is either dead or completely incapable of fighting. Mostly dead.

    This went as expected. I agree that Toney is the better pure counter puncher but I think Napoles was better at leading and than countering the counter. I think Napoles counter punching abilities were more versatile but probably not better. So hell if I remember what my point was...
