One thing is for sure: open scoring sucks

    The crowd booing Trout after the fight before his interview sucked, too. Texas fans are bad winners and losers.

    If I were a fighter I'd probably want it though. Just to play devil's advocate. Agree with the consensus though.

    With the level of corruption and incompetence in boxing, I would want OS. Too many fights where fighters/corners think they are winning a fight in the ring but they are losing it on the scorecards.

    I watched it on BN and had no idea about the open scoring until I came on here after the fight and everyone was up in arms about it.

    The open scoring did effect the dimensions of the fight.

    However people are wrongly identifying the issue, the issue here is the bad judging. I saw Canelo win that fight but I did't see him win 10 rounds. The only reason the open scoring negatively affected the fight is because of bad judging.

    If the judging is cleaned up and is fair then open scoring is not an issue and would probably add to the fight.
