Trout's style isn't casual fan friendly

Who cares if its casual friendly or not? Why because he isnt winging punches.

 

he throws alot....he just dont put nothing behind them...kinda like a early paul williams

 

Trout put on great fight. He didn't run like people said he would.

 

Trout was coming at Alvarez more often than Alvarez was for him. I thought he was out of his mind since I believe he was winning by simply boxing his fight.

When I found out it was open scoring I understood why he stopped boxing.

 

I like his style comes forward fights, yeah boi!

 

Trout was the aggressor fool..

he just don't have the same pop as Canelo..

**** a casual fan my dude. Im on that canelo team all day, but Trout is a good fighter and deserves some more air time. If you dont like his style of fighting you can at least appreciate his taste in women. His ruka is fine.

 

Funny considering he threw more punches, landed more punches, controlled the fight, and was the aggressor for most of the fight.

 

This supports the hypocrisy I was talking about in the other topic. If Canelo was black instead of Mexican, he would be getting a whole heap of criticism right now for his boring defensive style. He was too slick, but not offensive enough.

Even right here, you have someone saying Trout isn't fan friendly, yet Trout threw more punches and pushed the fight, while Canelo used slickness, and minimal offense to somehow win the judges over. Make Alvarez Black, and make Trout Mexican, and the Alvarez would be getting shitted on right now by everyone with people saying he ran, and made the fight boring. There is a huge double standard in boxing.

Nah, he came forward plenty and gave a great fight. I think fans who saw him will appreciate him.

 

most fan friendly fighters only last a few years. My favorite fighter Hearns lasted longer than most and he was entertaining.
