Seems Mijares can't get a break.

Still want to see him fight his way back to championship.

Nope. Judges hate the guy, which makes it tough since he doesn't really have 1-punch KO pop.

    ...and not just in losses.

Remember Doug Tucker deeming him to have been shut out by Jose Navarro, apparently not watching the same thing as the other two judges or the rest of the world? :-(

So last night isn't the worst injustice against him, but it's still a case where he took eight of twelve and scored a knockdown but somehow lost. (taking only four on one card!)

Glad to see I'm not alone to feel that Mijares won, my card:
    Mijares won round 1,2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
    I had the round 5 a draw
    gave Terraza round 3,4, 6, 7
    116-112 Mijares

Damn, glad to see that I wasn't alone. I just finished watching the fight since I don't get Box Azteca. It came on on Solo Boxeo.

I had Mijares winning by the knockdown; it was a close fight, though. Damn, the whole time I was saying how amazing it would be to see Mijares fight Rigondeaux. Terrazas looked good, but he didn't look champion calibre good. Mijares looked freaking amazing with some blazing hand speed.
