CANELO Too Slick, Too Mexican, Matrix Moves up in that Bit**

Canelo impressed me. Had it 114-113 for him.

Trout banked his fair share of rounds but they were were mainly due to workrate, that in all honesty was ineffective, but as Canelo was not throwing much back Trout got a few easy rounds. Trout landed nothing of note all fight.

 

Yeah, you caught that too? What he should have said was "Canelo too slick too Mexican."


But anyway....As for the fight. I thought neither guy looked all that great. And it's amazing that people are so quick to call a fighter slick just because he's black. Trout is a good fighter, but there is nothing "Slick" about him. And the most telling thing about this fight....BOTH FIGHTERS WERE DEAD TIRED BY ROUND 7. That's a DAMN SHAME at this level of Boxing!!!
