If Canelo has taken the throne as Mayweather's place, it's a sad day. A true all-time great of the sport having his spot taken by a guy who, frankly, isn't anything special at all.

Saul is an exciting fighter to watch and he's more talented/skilled than he gets credit for. Looking forward to years of him fighting.

actually that fight lost some Alvarez spark for me.....

it was very apparent that he didnt have enough base stamina to even throw the burst combos he's known for.....

i felt that the fight was going to be close but gave a 60/40 edge to Canelo to win. It ended to be basically that close. The Alvarez train was seriously over-hyping Canelo and under-estimating Trout. But im glad Canelo was able to legitimize himself at the top level at least

he REALLY needs to work on his stamina

More like Pernell Whitaker's defense. There was no philly shell used which I am glad.

If he's taken over the throne, then he's ducking Golovkin,Ward, Martinez, and Yoan Pablo Hernandez.

Get the **** out of here! Canelo is a good fighter, but he's not a special fighter. I'd like to see him beat Lara and GGG, then I'll be convinced that he's the real deal.

Canelo is great for boxing but he has some obvious flaws. He does though have great head movement and a much better defense than people give him credit for the good news is he's still young and can get better. No one at 154 will probably beat him Lara woulld give him his hardest fight.
