Looking shredded has little to do with "being bigger". Different body types materialize differently. Just because Floyd fights at 147 (the weight he walks around at) doesn't mean he's built for WW. It's widely accepted that Floyd is a small-medium WW, but definitely not a big WW. Floyd's one of the very few fighters who fight at the weight they walk around at. Most fighters prefer to cut some weight and then rehydrate to gain an advantage in mass.

Ghost is taller and will weigh more than Floyd on fight night. So, by all practical definitions, Ghost will be bigger. Ghost is also younger and so his body can still fill out a little bit. Floyd's body can only deteriorate at this point. He's past the pinnacle of physical capacity.

Ghost is and will be bigger. Floyd will likely look more cut, as he often does versus every opponent. This is moreso a symptom of him not putting on much weight after the weigh-in than is it him "being bigger". He doesn't need to rehydrate where other fighters choose to do so.

So I guess you'd be fine with Canelo going up to fight Martinez at 160 or Ward at 168? PBF is 36 now and will be outweighed by 20 pounds but to you that has no factor on the fight right? Atleast be real here man.:-(

with that being said had do u see the fight going. I don't think the fight is going to be as easy as everyone thinks it will be, I think will Floyd will just find another way to win. Make those adjustments to Roberts style later on in the fight.

Floyd has been out weighed by that much before vs Gatti and I am sure with DLH and Baldimor as well... lets not pretend like he hasnt.

so the **** what if he is 36 if your going to use age as an excuse not to fight then do us a favor and retire because this is a sport in which fans want to see the best fight the best.

and yes I would like to see Canelo move up to face Martinez at 160 and who ever is there at 168 if he can go that high.

weight doesnt mean **** if you fight smart neither does age nor power....

so stop using all this ***** like excuses here take your tampon out and be a ****ing man about it

    Canelo is too BIG!

Floyd vs Canelo is a dead fight.

The talk and focus should be on Canelo vs Maravilla.

because I think somebody fighting a person at 172 lbs vs a person at 150 lbs seems a bit unsafe?

Floyd is a title holder at 154 lbs, so that means the fight can be made. Either vacant or he will be asked by fans to fight bigger fighters in Martinez, Trout and Canelo.

That's all he needs to do, but as a current title holder at 154 lbs it understandable fans want to see how he matches up against some of the top fighters at that weight.
