Next time I hope Tyson treats us to something from Val Doonican. How's about Paddy McGinty's Goat? I think that would just about blow my mind.
I like rebel songs. I only have a basic understanding of Irish politics and don't wanna turn this thread into a political discussion but them fools make some good music.
Turns out your right, some guy called Ricky Van Shelton, according to this http://www.thescore.ie/tyson-fury-boxing-sings-878585-Apr2013/
Yes I noticed the choice of music. Surprised that a pro IRA song was approved to be used as entrance music.
I hope when he wins the world title he'll come out to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FGG0dmYJOM
Brilliant song choice by fury :yep Hopefully when Fury wins a world title he defends it at celtic park :happy
Fury is so confused about his background he will probably come out to the sash next time. Anyhow, so much for his 'fiddle-di-dee oim oirish to be sure' pish pulling in the diaspora. Pretty sure Madison Square Garden was an arena last time I checked. Last nights fight looked like it was held in a school hall.
I must say I had a laugh when I heard it, he's a mad ****, I'll give him that, the funnier part is, how butthurt so many of the english are getting about Fury, (the few bitter loyalists in Scotland arent any shocker) ever since he said he was Irish/fighting for Ireland, finding out that his ringwalk music was some anti-English rebel music, must be like rubbing salt in the wounds!...but then again, most of the people complaining, wouldn't have had a clue what the song was, to them it was just some quaint, Irish sounding air, on the píob mhór.
