Now its he did'nt beat him clear enough, he's got to beat him clearer in order to even be considered an opponent for Money!

    ......so is the ***** mindset.
Its whatever suits there agenda. If the agenda suits that Canelo is'nt good enough skillwise to be considered, they'll ride with that.
They have to really because its certainly not because Canelo does'nt sell tickets.

The biggest most richest fight in boxing today would be Mayweather vs Canelo, and once again Mayweather will refuse that for the sake of securing his O!

What 20 lb weight diff you be talkin' 'bout here, boy ?

The weigh-in limit is 154. Canelo came in under that limit. Floyd holds a belt at that weight.

Either he defends the belt or vacates it on account of being too small.

He's talking about the fight night weight difference. Floyd at 150 vs. Canelo at 172.

We don't know Floyd's weight vs Cotto, he refused next day weighin. Marquez claims he was 20lbs heavier. Seems far fetched, but who knows what the truth is when Floyd again refused to be weighed in, in addition to missing the 144 CW by 2lbs.

**** off with this revisionist history . Either you have bad memory or you're purposely changing history. Everybody called Canelo too green a year ago and rated Cotto number 1. All the credible ranking systems and the fans

Marquez was making excuses for getting outclassed.

I know what he was talkin' about.

My point was that fight night weight was irrelevant to the discussion as to whether the 154 lb belt holder should fight another 154 lb belt holder if both can make weight.

Defend / unify or vacate !

    Sergio Martinez vs JC Chavez

The difference is that Martinez has balls!

Listen, I would'nt criticize Mayweather for not fighting Canelo if he did'nt cherry pick when and against who to climb up to 154 lbs and claim to be the best.

Mayweather claims to be p4p the best and then refuses to make fights the fans want to see. His act is getting stale.

If I were Mayweather, I'd insist on a same day weigh in. Sound good to you?

Way too big in terms of fight night weight. But if there's enough money why not? totally Floyd's call. Not gonna be surprised if he doesn't though.

Well Pacquao 17lb lighter than Margarito on fight night but apparently that was a completely hollow win. Chavez Jr weighed about 18-20lb more than Sergio also without a doubt. Mayweather holds a belt at 154, what's the damn issue here???

But now we're hearing Canelo is too heavy for "lil' Floyd"
Canelo, may not necessarily come in at 172 for Mayweather, he'd likely come in lighter so as to not lose too much speed - he came in that heavy because Trout is a big guy.

And anyone who thinks Mayweather puts on no weight on fight night when weighing in at 150 is in dreamland. You can assume more realistically Mayweather's fight night weight would be 152ish and Canelo more likely to be 167-170

The double standards *****s throw out there are just fantastic - they take Floyd's lowest likely fight night weight and Canelo's highest ever fight night weight

If 154 is too big for Floyd, then he should just come out and say "154 is simply too big for me, I fought Cotto because he's not a big 154 guy"

I'd accept that, I'd buy that - but he won't do that so he needs to back up his trash talk

Yeah, I wouldn't be too surprised if he pulled that stunt. He has a bit of a history of trying to usurp the functions of the boxing commissions and make his own rules.

Thing is, that's not how it's done nowadays. The boxing authorities have long since instituted previous day weigh-ins. Floyd could insist till he's blue in the face. It wouldn't change the protocols of the sport.

He should face all legit challengers, vacate, or be stripped.

As i've mentioned already, he would be a slight favourite over anybody at 154 right now. But not for much longer.

  15. floyd would school alvarez , canelo needs to train for more stamina....floyd by wide ud
