Matt browns fight was awesome. Plenty of guys for him to fight hopefully gets more limelight he deserves.

The punch stats weren't accurate for Melendez unless countering doesn't count now for so e reason. Never seen Henderson so frustrated but think he edges out a win

Cormier vs Mir was going to be a stink fest IMO not surprised there as Mir is so huge and experienced but not usually the killer he has appeared to be on some occasions. He's passed it now or getting there fast

 

Also Daniel Cormier has some impressive attributes despite the boring matchup, I still rate him but seeing him in the octagon exposed serious lack of technical imagination. I was predicting everything he'd do before he did it. He wont be champ. More dynamic athletic strikers going to towel him up IMO.

He might be able to KO granite mandible of Roy Nelson though, hope it gets made

 

great post :good the thing that pisses me off most on this board is the chin checker glass jaws rubbish. so many people on here are so extreme in their love/hate for fighters. there's no middle ground. they either really are in love with some and really passionately hate others, and this doesn't change dependent on results. They have no respect for fighters at all. And i guarantee most have probably never even been in a fight, let alone a ring/cage. I felt Benson edged it mainly due to the leg strikes, but i was impressed with GM

 

take a look around the board and see how many people don't seem to get the point he made

 

I was let down by both DC and Mir :twisted: I guess this fight shows perhaps DC isnt what we thought he was, although he destroyed Barnett :think Mein slightly let me down but he'll be back.

Gilbert Melendez is the truth. Much better than I thought. I thought the fight was too close to call though.
