Open scoring ****ed it all up too, Canelo took it way too easy due to the scores. I honestly believe that without open scoring Canelo would've been more active and the fight would've been wider for Canelo.

You shouldn't take YOU so seriously.

I called this fight. I said no way Trout gets the KO and if it goes the distance no way Trout would get the decision at a GBP sponsored event. This was an easy call.

It looked close while I was watching it but then I remember Canelo landed all of the hard punches, got a KD, and created some wobbling.

Canelo clearly. It was a close fight, but Canelo won it clear.

This fight wasn't particularly controversial either.

The title is misleading. It should be "a majority of press had it for Canelo, a majority of twitter fans had it for Trout." That can tell you the quality of the verdict the OP is trying to find relief in.

That score collector dude is a legend.

Whilst I scored it for canelo some rounds were very close and this fight could easily have gone either way. I had 6-6.

Should see a rematch, let Floyd stay at 147 and the big boys can face each other.

Trout was a dead man walking. The odds were all ****ed up against him. The only chance he had was to knock Canelo out and I think he knew that going in. I actually think that he was told that. At this point I'm very disappointed in Trout cause he didn't have the balls to say what he was really thinking. I watched the fight three times already and I still think he won but that don't mean **** cause he's the one who needs to stand up. Then, maybe some people with real influence will stand up with him and he can get a rematch. A timid man don't stand a chance in this boxing game.:bbb

Canelo was the predetermined winner, scorecards prove that. But he gets props for making it a close enough fight where one shouldn't really cry robbery. I can see people giving Canelo the win by a round.. No respected posters on here had it wider than that from what I've seen.

Nice theory but they gave the scores at the end of the 8th and Canelo won clearly.

I personally thought Canelo won by about 3 rounds. The judges were a joke but again not nearly as pathetic as the bunch on here.

I'll have to watch it again. On the night I gave it to Canelo and couldn't see a judge giving it to Trout.

It was close but on a different poll I bet Canelo would come out on top. Let Showtime conduct a poll.
