Peter Fury is FURYous about last night fight!

When he leaves himself open to shots like he did against Cunningham, I can see quite a few having a good chance.

 

Agreed. With the absence of Peter, Tyson seemed to take notice of nobody and just do what his own thing.
He looks awkward and clumsy at the best of times, and he looked shocking for the most part.
It was sheer size and weight advantage that got him the W, not boxing prowess.

 

Good post, especially the Chisora part. Now I wanted Haye to sparkle Chisora, and thats ultimately what happened, but at no point was it comfortable, and I thought Haye was visably tiring. I think if the dynamite hadnt landed when it did, he may well have lost.

Now fighting once a year, is no use for fitness levels, or sharpness(unless youre Floyd Mayweather, and Id argue its hurting even him), and whilst Id fully expect Haye to blast Fury away inside 4 rounds,you just need to watch Lewis/Wlad and the effect of having such a massive man leaning on you, pushing you backwards, its exhausting.

 

Another thing is Haye loads up most of his shots more often which is why he burns out his stamina. It's why he looked like he was gassing out when facing Chisora and why he paces himself at Heavyweight. I still think he won't be gullible enough to do that against Fury.

 

Fury is also VERY easy to hit. I think Haye would be on his toes, much like against Valuev, but instead of single shots, 3s n 4s, and I think that would do for Fury inside 4 rounds.
Hayes nowhere near as good as his hype machine, but he's fast and a very very explosive puncher.
