Floyd shouldn't have to fight Canelo or Trout and he don't have to because he's a coward. Why do you think he even lost the award as this era greatest fighter to an Asian midget...because he's just a straight up coward.

Im sure Oscar was a similiar weight to Canelo.

De La Hoya wion a title(albeit controversially) at MW.

Im sure he weighed 165-170 against Floyd.

The fact is though, the Floyd is a small to average sized WW, and he shouldnt need to fight at LMW to prove anything.

Everybody wants floyd to jump through hurdles or they attack him personally.

The perks of being an established highly regarded fighter is that you can call the shots. Why should he move here and there to prove anything to anybody. The dudes been fighting his whole life. He's not a coward. I doubt he's afraid of anyone. If the Canelo fight makes sense for him. He'll make it happen and win one of the easiest decisions of his life.

Then everyone would have a new golden boy that Floyd is afraid of.

    :deal

The irony is that I think he beats Canelo. And there's absolutely no evidence yet that he doesn't want the fight. I'm actually very surprised that Canelo's performance has broken the ranks among hardcore Mayweather fans in the way it has. It was a fine performance to be sure but not elite.

Canelo has done NOTHING to even deserve a Floyd fight.

But pushing that aside there is zero reason to believe his hands would ever touch Floyd plush in the ring. Canelo would get outpointed too easily.

He fought at 154 twice before, what's the problem?

As a Floyd fan I'm shocked at all the "Floyd shouldn't fight Canelo" reactions. I mean WTF is going on? :huh

Maybe because he has a 154 belt? Maybe because when you have a 154 belt is usual to defend it against another 154 fighters.

If he is not going to fight at 154 vacate it and go fight Guerreros and Devon Alexanders of the world.

    Else, shut up

Because he has a belt at 154 he hasn't relinquished and proclaims himself the best in that division - it's really quite simple!

He proclaims himself the best at 147 too and has a belt there.

Should he defend the belts twice on one night?

haters wont agree to that unless both those fighters have the last name klitchko

but to be honest after the guerrero fight he should decide weather or not he is fighting at welter or jr middleweight

i think he is waiting to see how he feels after the layoff to decide weather or not he goes up to 154 and has a mega fight out of his prime and comfort zone with canelo for unified 154 champ

or stay at welterweight and fight the best fighters there

the worst part is if he went to 154 and lost to canelo he deserves a huge ammount of credit.. i dont know any p4p king and ppv king take risks fighting the big champion in a division floyds clearly not built for (ESPECIALLY at this stage in his career where he has significantly faded). but people will just bag the **** out of him like he pulled a 38 year old lightweight up to 147 expecting an easy nights work and it turned into a cherry pick gone wrong

    but iv said to much:oops:

if a guy can win a title there, then why not consider him a legit fighter there?
