Oscar Hates on Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Hell no... Oscar will put up a front and say he's clean... Then he will go to his 5 star hotel and snort a few lines and call up his fav Escort!! You just dont know man... How rich ppl are!

Floyd was never and will never be on Prime Oscar's level. Oscar beat Fernando Vargas at 154. Floyd will lose badly to Vargas.

Fernando Vargas is a great puncher in terms of sheer variety, he had what we call the 'Joe Frazier Effect' in that his weaving styles combined with his volume punching is Hell to any defensive minded fighter.

A 19 year old Vargas beat Quartely.. another fighter that Oscar beat and a fighter that would give any version of Floyd Hell. Vargas put out relentless combinations and body punching+pressure. It's very difficult to deal with that kind of pressure as a defensive minded fighter.

A great pressure fighter will always get to the defensive wizard assuming the pressure fighter holds a size advantage which Vargas surely do.

Riddick Bowe fights like a HW Vargas and he is able to fully utlizie his pressure+punch output to the most lethal combination effect.

2-Rope Fighting. Traps. Counter Traps.
Floyd Mayweather Jr's biggest weakness is getting trapped against the ropes and getting beaten via traps/counter trap deductives as he attempts to find a way out.

See Floyd did well in spots against Castillo WHEN he is able to escape the ropes.

but the moment Castillo had him trapped. Floyd was in great trouble and struggling to breath/due to lack of strength along the primeters of the ring. Floyd was never a lateral border fighter.. he is more simply a center ring fighter picking people off with his counters and combinations in the middle.

Further more Mayweather sometimes play it too slickly as is shown in the above picture when he is getting close to the ropes but instead of leaving he will invite you in.. Vargas is 20 pounds bigger than Castillo, a better fighter, a much better puncher and has a better chin. He would trap Floyd and be relentless in dominating.


3- Ambush Tactics.

Against Oscar when Vargas did have success he used ambush tactics in that he will bait Oscar near the ropes before turning a 360 to trap him against it.

Moving carefully along the ring. he will suddenly adjust mid air and start a punch 360 turn and force Oscar to fight his fight. Oscar was only able to adjust due to the fact he was 5'10 himself and was 166 pounds to Vargas's 5'10 and 166.. Floyd is 5'7 and 150.. He is giving up 3 inches in height and more importantly 16 pounds of raw muscles. He WILL not be able to escape ANY ambush Vargas sets.



4- In Fighting
Ricky Hatton was able to pressure Floyd in spots due to his infighting but Floyd was the naturally bigger man and picked Hatton off at range

Vargas meanwhile is much bigger than Floyd and will force his way inside to dominate via a series of upper cuts and body combinations. In FIghting for a big man is vital. Riddick Bowe during his peak took Holyfield's 0 due to great infighting for a big man

Floyd is unable to withstand pressure infighters who are bigger than he is. Vargas will walk Floyd down with upper cuts and low body combinations taking it to the rib cage. Liver shots play a HUGE role in boxing as shown here.

Hatton was able to get to the liver of Castillo because he was the same size. Floyd only escaped in fighting due to the fact he never fought a BIG infighter. Vargas is a big infighter at 5'10 170 pounds and will pressure Floyd relentlessly with his combinations on the inside. He will sap the strength of Floyd and there is nothing Floyd can do due to the size edge.

Oscar was able to avoid this due to the fact he himself is a big man at WW and also has a much more aggressive mind set.

Fernando Vargas would have beaten any version of Floyd via late tko.

I don't think posting up a video of Mayweather hyping up the Hoya fight and how he was going to beat his ass, ice him, and knock him out works in Floyds favor any. Hoya had not looked impressive in a long time and Mayweather entered the ring and did what he does best, he outboxed Oscar. Mayweather fans keep waiting for that Gatti moment again and talk about how whoever his next opponent is is going to get Gatti'd. Mayweather has only Gatti'd...Gatti. I hate the bragging from Mayweather when he says he is coming to fight and knock an opponent out. I know most fighters have that attitude, but it get's old hearing him go on and on promoting how he is going to whip someones ass then enters the ring and outboxes them. I started seeing shades of the mean Mayweather in the Ortiz fight, but then it ended so abruptly that we didn't get to see if he was going to still keep opening up like he was. Mayweather kind of reminds me of Roy Jones as he got older. You always have the feeling they could do more and go for a knockout but they just don't push for it. That's why I like fighters like Rios and Pac. Rios says he's coming to leave it all in the ring and he does. Pac, is usually always humble before and after a fight but he definitely has mean intentions in the ring.

Watch that fight again , that was anything but an ass whoopin . Floyd mouth says 1 thing , but when they got in that ring Floyd was showing a lot of respect whenever Oscar unleash on him .

Yep.....Oscar got out-classed. And that is the reason why Oscar never answered Mayweather's calls to fight him going back to his days as a lightweight. People saying Oscar was "shot" need to open their eyes to reality. The only reason Oscar was "shot" is because he never wanted a piece of Mayweather in his earlier days. It would have ruined his golden ticket cause Mayweather would have beat him back then as well.

Same goes for Mosley. Both of them wanted nothing to do with Mayweather for years.

Delahoya in his peak would eat Floyd alive . Oscar from back then would not fade after 7,8 rnds . Floyd would get outjabbed/outworked/outmuscled by him and lose a UD .
