John Wayne Parr comeback is official

if he was still happy to fight JWP why not just strip him and make him fight for the vacant title?

 

Anyone can easily state "I am happy.....blah,blah,blah". More often than not guys that start to set these "pre-conditions" are going to a total pain in the arse - when you have been a pain in the arse once then you are likely to be going forward. Such was the case here - there were more "pre-conditions" emerging.


Now JWP and Mosi will scrap over the belt with Fadi left out in the cold.

in boxing theyll usually bend over backwards to satisfy their champions demands. i guess they saw the ass kicking JWP was about to dish out and figured better please the future champ then the soon to be displaced one :yep

JWP wins by 2nd round ko.

Absolute bombs thrown by both guys during the first two rounds. Mostafa has improved heaps and had JWP off a bit in the first round. Had bursts where both stood toe to toe throwing with power shots whistling past. JWP backed Mostafa to the ropes and KO'd with 8 punch combo (the one you see him do on the the pads vid), the ropes propping Mostafa up until he slid down them ala Tommy Morrison. KO was right in front of my judging position, thankfully Mostafa recovered fine.


Aaron Goodson won in an awesome display. Prepping now for Germany next month against Michael Hasselbeck world title shot.
