Price will not knock him out. He could barely land last time, why would the robotic scouse be able to land any better this time?

Only difference I can see is that Thompson probably actually comes in motivated this time, and KOs price early!

I still don't see how Price got knocked out by that punch.

    Awful, awful punch resistance.

If Thompson can knock him out with a cuffing punch whilst off balance, you'd have to fancy him to do it again.

Yeah, Price is SO EASY to knock out, and Thompson knows it for sure now. You'd have to fancy Thompson to get the job done again.

Price's punch resistance is shockingly bad.

Agree with all of this. The previous fight could be the making of Price, he seems a down to earth and intelligent lad, to be fair. I'm convinced that he would have learned from the defeat and will make certain changes. One hopefully being that he realises he doesn't have to go for the stoppage in every single attack.

Thompson will be in better shape and will almost certainly have sharpened up in order to walk Price into a short left. However, I think and hope that we will see a more composed/patient performance from Price and this will possibly lead to a stoppage around 7 or 8.

Incidentally, I don't see why him and Audley didn't use each other for mutual sparring for their upcoming fights?

You're all as bad as the canadians who think Bute stands a chance against Froch in the rematch.

    Not going to happen.

This is going to be great. Expect TT to be in good condition this time round. Can't really pick a winner imo.

Price has a good chance of stopping Thompson the first round of their fight looked pretty much like what Wlad was doing to Thompson

Pitty about the 2nd round then.

He is in no way as fluid a Vlad anyway, he barely landed anything in the first, though he did win it (just about).

Thompson was winning the 2nd aswell before the KO imo.

The more I watch that gif above the more it looks like Price was hit in the same place as Khan against Garcia. Price even did the same shoulder shake as Khan when he got up. :yep I don't think it was all that much of a cuff either, in slow motion it looks like a pretty good shot really.
