didnt get to see his fight against dai davis(9-20-2) he won 78-76. how did he look and where do u think he sud go now. imo he sud be looking at fighting josh warington for the english title. he missed out fighting chris for english title twice then problems with his team and an eliminator against smith went to purse bids but both pulled out, he then had a long lay off now his back with an 8 rounder and fw and arnie in his corner
Looks like he had a hard night looking at the scores did he struggle a bit should he not be winning a bit more convincingly or does he get the benefit of the doubt because he hasn't fought for a while
wats next for him then mate. 8 rounder, english or wait for selby vacate and hope his put in for that by the board.
But it's an impossible task for Joe to beat Selby I think. Like someone else mentioned, he needs to be active and looking towards the english title.
He went to the Olympics. Has been pro for 4 years now. Surely his career has got to the point where he needs to take a risk.
He's only just come back, no rush for selby, just got a new coach too so get him settled I'm sure he will do very well.
I have always rated Murray just think if you have been a pro for 4 years you can't be in a position where you need to get settled and have some learning fights. Its sink or swim time. Murray probably won't fight again for 6 months. Any date for Vassel fight?
He's got a date already! I just want him active first then we can talk about titles, if it was upto Joe he would of boxed a 12 rounder last week but everyone knows 14 months is a long time out so he needs to get his range and distance back then we look for titles.;-)
Considering joes been out so long it was a rust shedder Dai Davies record is deceiving he has been in with good boys as a live opponent Concern for me is Joe looked off the pace in his fight before layoff So are we talking rust or regression Also i wanted to see Joe on tv rather than buglioni, omeara or even Mitchell smith as we havnt seen him in a while
