****ing hell these last few days on here have been amusing Scotland-England rivalry, the Irish troubles, thatchers time in power, asians and whites, hillsborough
dupe account?? nah man, I am who I say I am, hows it "dupe"? You were owned, it was funny to read
I would never say hillsborough was amusing That's a low blow My intention was to mention the political debating on a boxing forum But fair enough
Sorry, that was my point too, in a roundabout way. They were all significant events but it's quite something to see so much discussion about them. Although, on Hillsborough, they got the truth and still seem unhappy about it.
My bad, misread it your comment. The threads do seem to have become highly political of late and even though ive been reading this site for a year or two now and ive never seen so much focus on promoters either. Maybe thats because the arrival of a 'New kid' has given people a chance to compare-even though for many reasons its ridiculous to do so lol Hillsborough, nothing will ever be enough for them i dont think. Unfortunately mention Heysel to the same teams supporters and all goes quiet-before a torrent of abuse. Have you seen Peter Furys comments on a Haye/Fury fight?
Excellent work from East Side. I loves me some older lady, and I've always wanted a boxing forum that knows me.
I'm a United fan but I don't have anything other than admiration for the families involved in the Hillsborough campaign. The reason it has taken so long is that the families were thwarted at every turn by the "justice" system and the truth has only just now come out! That still doesn't represent justice though as a fresh inquest now needs to take place before hopefully the scum who have been hiding away behind a South Yorkshire Police shield are criminally charged. The latter may never happen unfortunately though, as most likely the covering of backs will come into play again by the establishment network. This takes a frustratingly long time which isn't the families' fault. Edit: this thread has turned political out of one throwaway remark so back to boxing, and let's hope Edward has some more goodies to pull out of his his Sky Sports shopping bag
United fan too and while i agree with you on Hillsborough i still dont think anything will be enough for those wounds to heal. Yet liverpool refuse to take responsibility for Heysel and numerous other things, which is highly hypocrtitical imo. Anyway lets move away from this topic, wonder if he will sign some deal with Haye...
