Any Word On When V.Klitschko Vs. Peter Will Be Announced?

if klit is physically fit, he will serve peter a beating. if not, he will lose a late tko or ud by running out of gas

 

This fight was to have happened in July, but because of Don King and the olympics it will probably not happen until Sept or Nov.

 

That damn Don King! Organising the Olympics and all, the fiend!

As for this fight - believe it when I see it.
A healthy Vitali K no longer exists, but I'll settle for whatever can finally make it to the ring.

I have to agree with that. While Vitali's injuries have been exaggerated, I do think it would be only fair and prudent for all involved to get a clause that a certain fee amount will be imposed if Viali withdraws.

Not due to health, but mainly due to the fact that he's running for mayor before this fight. If he were to win, there is no telling what his outlook would then be on boxing. And he probably can't really say, himself, what he'd do if he won the mayor race.

But then again, I doubt the fight will be put together before his late May mayor run is over, so maybe that'll be after the fact by the time they start drawing up the conditions.

I just hope this fight does go on as planned. Cause I think it'd be a very dramatic and spectacular display, one way or the other.

 

Vitali has had plenty of time to negotiate a fight with Peter already; they were in negotiations before Peter had the fight with Maskaev...there is no excuse for putting the fight off until the fall Don King or not. Clearly, the fight should be before the end of July. That is still 4 months time to get it done. They should both be in training already!!! Enough of the delays!!! It is infuriating.:twisted:

 

I feel your pain, when Vitali is involved in any type of fight, delays and postponements are soon to follow, I fear we that we wont see Sam Peter in the ring again until later this year, probably Nov or Dec, before everythings all said and done, expect to see Golota/Peter not Peter/Vitali.
