Would be nice, they could get a crowd rivaling Pacquiao's fights there.

@Bogotazo: Do people actually use 'colgar los guantes' and 'mega choque' in Spanish, they just seem like Anglicisms.

Interesting... They thinking of a mega PPV with Floyd vs unknown in Vegas as main event with co-feature being Canelo vs Cotto in Dallas? That would be crazy!!

Unsure on if Canelo would be willing to do that though.. He might because he'd have his own venue..

I wish Cotto would retire. I know this is a huge payday, but the man has made money.

No state income taxes. Why give 13.3% to California or just a little less to NY? That's one in every 6-7 punches you take going directly to the government, who will just waste it anyway.

I'd pay to watch this :thumbsup
Would love it if Cotto came very motivated, conditioned and willing to give Canelo a tough fight

I hope Cotto is getting paid really well for this.

I'm sure he's going to retire after the fight.

Got nothing but respect to Cotto he's fought every elite fighter he could. Alvarez should wait on Mayweather and aggressively pursue him like he seemed he would after that talking a few months ago. I'd still watch that fight but rather Cotto retire.

I`m all up for it. Cotto could retire if he loses, but he can also cash out at the same time.. Though I see this as an opportunity for the haters.

    - He`s fighting Cotto who lost in his last fight.
    - Cotto hasn`t been relevant since he lost to Floyd.
    - He isn`t in his prime.
    - etc.

Still up for it though. Styles could make it a good fight. But I see Canelo ****ing him up.

yes, he is very comfortable money wise.

I think if Cotto prepares well and trains as hard as he should, it will be a good fight

Not to make excuses but is was well known ( in PR ) that he didn't train for Trout as hard as he did for Floyd, became lazy and that got Pedro Diaz irritated, they are not together anymore
